Best restaurant in Horta. We went to Atletico twice, which was good, but nothing like this.For starters, the limpets were the biggest we had ever seen and the calamari were so tender.The tuna steak was perfectly cooked, and the pasta blew us away.Thank you Thiago for being such a great host.

Busy place with a great atmosphere. Staff is friendly and enjoy their work, a rarity these days. Started with tasty fava beans, and followed with a slow cooked chanfana, Azores style. Kima for drinks make it the local setup. Fátima, the cook, will make sure you will have a proper culinary experience.

Very cool, laid-back place. Seems to get quite busy in the evenings and understandably so, the dishes are simple but delicious.Most of the negative reviews aim at the slow service. The place does seem to be a bit ahort staffed but when we visited the staff was extremly friendly and very fast given how crowded the tables were.

Good food and service and the most amazing spot to enjoy the sunset in Horta (a few tables outside with views over the beach). Traditional tavern with small menu and very decent options. We tried the tuna steak and the alcatra (beef stew) which were good. Service was fast and super kind. Overall, unique point to have dinner or a glass of wine while enjoying the sunset in the Porto Pim.

So delicious, amazing limpets and stew beef. Finished with strawberries dessert was a perfect refreshing moment. The service was great as well ;)

This Gem was such a surprise! When we couldn’t get in to our first choice we came here. So glad they had a table for us! Wonderful experience cooking our own food on the lava rock! Great service. The pineapple on the lava rock with a shake of cinnamon, was so delicious. So fun!

We were craving for some stew as during our stay in different islands in Azores, we have mostly found the steak and grilled food. This place did not disappoint us, it was a good regional beef stew, Alcatra, and we really enjoyed it on our last night in azores.We also ordered their lime mousse and my o my, it was amazing.The service was fast , the only complaint that we had was that the place was too loud with some other locals , perhaps that’s not in the owners control.But overall a 5* place
